Seven

It’s harder now to walk these streets
Where we look around without seeing
Becoming older but not growing up
With shards of memories in our hands

We’re forced to remember every single thing
But this does not help, not for now, not for us
Cause we don’t see, understand them so well
To use past tokens to improve ourselves

Our scars are many by now, many more to come
But under those we remain the same things
With no empathy towards each other at all and
No changes in our behavior
Even knowing we are wrong

This feels so heavy now that I can’t see anything else
This hurts so badly now that I can’t see, I can’t breath
May all my thoughts be scattered away
So I can finally see a new beginning

We’re forced to remember every single thing
But this does not help, not for now, not for us
Cause we don’t see, understand them so well
To use past tokens to improve ourselves

Our scars are many by now, many more to come
But under those we remain the same things
With no empathy towards each other at all and
No changes in our behavior
Even knowing we are wrong

May all my thoughts be scattered away
So I can finally see a new beginning

If only we could see a bit further
We wouldn’t be chained in our grieving

Our soul would deeply reach a new awareness of reality
My soul
